Why I'm Starting a Blog in 2020

The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.

I like making long term investments.

Blogging seems to be quite a resilient concept. There are many blogs over a decade old that are still flourishing.

That’s why I think it makes sense to put the time and energy into starting a blog today. It’s like planting the seed for a project that can grow with me through the years.

It certainly won’t always be easy. I know there has been a steep learning curve to writing this first post.

But over time, I think I will find my rhythm. A way to simply let the words flow.

I’d like to look back one day and be able to say:

“I met some amazing people by blogging”

“Blogging helped me share my world with my friends”

“Readers taught me things I wouldn’t have learned on my own”

If these goals come to fruition, I would say the blog is a success.
